Myself and several HAMB members received a message from Tom’s wife Lori yesterday. This is Tom's wife Lori It is with a heavy heart I must tell you of Tom's p***ing on June 13th. I also want to thank ALL of you for the many hours of happiness you provided him near the end of his illness. All the medication required him to be somewhat inactive, and this outlet was a blessing! He used to read me posts and tell me things about cars (because I am clueless) and he always had a smile on his face when he did. Although clueless, I was happy for our 39 years together, that he had such a hobby. The way I looked at it was he didn't drink, gamble or have other women, so having this was great. I always knew where he was.............in the Garage!! It is also a blessing that in the past few weeks, he got into his garage and labeled things for me with the part name and approximate value because he worried his treasures would just be "given" away because I am so clueless!!! I Truly do thank you all for your kindness and online friendship here, your advice, and your funny stories & entertainment for him. You will never know how much it helped him overcome his "bad" days and reset his at***ude despite not being physically active to actually do the work on his own vehicles. He had been very sick for over 12 years but signing on here made him feel well and young again!!! I am glad I found his p***code so I could thank you all myself. Very Sad News! I had many interactions with Tom on here & enjoyed them very much. His words of encouragement & comfort while we were fighting Laura's cancer were very much appreciated. R.I.P. Tom. So sorry to hear this. Tom was a great guy. Always positive and ready to give praise and compliments. Full of ***** and ready to give advice. My condolences to his whole family.
Lori, sad to hear of Tom's p***ing. Learning about his long term health issues was kind of a surprise in that his contributions always remained so positive. Prayers as Y ou and Your Family move forward, Carp.

I'm so very sorry to hear this news. Thoughts and prayers to his Family and close friends. I had mentioned to him a while back how much I would enjoy meeting him (I'm in nearby Maryland) and maybe having lunch. He responded saying that he wasn't doing well and a get together likely wouldn't happen. So very sad. So very sorry, Lori........Don.
RIP, all my best to the family. He sounds like he was a blessed man with such an understanding wife of his p***ion. Not many men have that... ...
Tom was very generous in clicking the "Like" ****on on my posts. I have a weird sense of humor, and not everybody gets it....... but Tom did. This caused me to notice his post contributions and pay attention to him. It's funny that we never personally messaged each other, but whenever I read anything he wrote, I always got a friendly vibe from it. I can honestly say that I'll miss him.
