Very sorry to hear of Tom’s p***ing. I would like to offer my condolences to the family. Godspeed my friend!
The HAMB is a pretty cool place. Tom was one who definitely was a net positive member over the years. He'll be missed as I'm sure he'll be missed elsewhere in the world. Lori, I admire and appreciate you for coming in here while mourning and sharing the news. Please accept my sincere condolences to you, those who loved Tom, and all those who called him friend.
While I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Tom, I almost feel like I did. He's a lot like my recently p***ed buddy "Bullet Bob". The two of them shared a lot of fine traits including positivity, hard work ethic, a penchant for fixing all kinds of things and so many other things. Car guys of that age can be as different as any group of people, but the gems in the group like Bob and Tom really drive the overall juju of the place. It's a little mind boggling to go to Tom's profile page https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/members/tow-truck-tom.321260/ and realize he was posting earlier this month. What a warrior. His obit is a worthwhile read. Lori, I hope you come in here and read all this stuff because a lot of cars guys don't say much. It's hard to put words to things like this. But the HAMB is fortunate to have had Tom as a part of the community and his fixing things with a positive at***ude was his way of making the world a better place. Job well done.
Condolences to his family. Hopefully someone will be able to help Ms. Lori with a fair and equitable disposition of his automotive collection. It’s a task that all of our loved ones will face someday.
Thank you, @Sharpone I've been busy and didn't see your post until this evening. Thank you, Lori, for letting us know. We sincerely share your grief over the loss of your husband and our good friend. God bless you and your family. My thoughts and feelings are the same as so many others here. It's interesting that we can feel sadness over losing someone who we never actually met or knew personally. But the spirit comes through. And Tom had a good spirit. I'll miss him.
Sorry to hear of Tom’s p***ing Never a bad word, would have loved to have had a beer or a coffee with him.
Very Sorry to hear about the p***ing of an old hot rodder. Condolences to friends and family. I’m sure he’s smiling and shifting gears in the afterlife. RIP.
Lori, Tom never talked about his health with me, he was always upbeat and positive when talking about hot rods, I loved his sense of humor, recently we were talking about cars being in ones DNA, Tom said he probably inherited it from his dad, " My dad was into Model A's and he changed cars like most people changed socks" I will sincerely miss our friend "Tow Truck Tom" He always had something nice to say, he was definitely one of the good ones, please except my condolences for you and your family, the Hamb has lost yer another true gentleman, Danny (HRP)
Thanks for the Memorial Thread to @Tow Truck Tom @Sharpone...belated condolences to Lori and the rest of his family and friends in his p***ing...We did have some good chats over the years...He will be missed and so unfortunate he had to battle this menace of a illness for so long without a positive outcome...rest in peace Hamber Tom...
