Once again, you have missed the point by basing your opinion only on your experience.
You say you are "getting dribs and drabs of issues". You (and others) need to take on board that there are many out there who are not getting anything. Do you think they should be happy and thankful about that? Your view might be different if you were wearing their shoes. Try taking a couple of steps back from the 'me' perspective and embrace the bigger picture.

Almost. The dribs and drabs comment was part of the conspiracy to issue just enough to keep the scam going followed by the idea that it's a pretty poor scam if the idea is to rip folks off of LOTS of money instead of a lot of work to garner few hundreds/;thousands.

Yes, I have gotten every issue published and yes, it is a number far behind schedule. But again, what do you want? If the whole thing folds, nobody ever gets nothin'. Will that satisfy you? If it's only mostly dead, see "The Princess Bride" then there is still a little hope-foe everyone. You can figure out Completely Dead for yourself

Again, a comment coming from your experience of "Yes, I have gotten every issue published".
A little empathy is a good skill to have....
I really hope TRJ can survive, but they've got to sort this **** out. It's been a long, long time.

And I gotta' say man, The Princess Bride is lost on me. Sorry, not the world I live in.;)

Wow, this thread is a great example of how (some) old men are ruining motorsports.

There, I said it. Ban me if you want.

What needs to happen is for the publisher of TRJ to come clean and say, ‘Look, I screwed up. I can’t continue to sell magazines or fulfill a lifetime subscription because it’s hemorrhaging money or working for $2/hour. I feel bad about this and want to make it right. One option is to email out a digital issue every quarter for the foreseeable future, another is to charge $X per printed issue to forward, and the last is to fold up completely. I truely wanted to make this work and thought I could for the low subscription rates but the reality is that the economics don’t work. Go forward, we will be going with…’

It’s unreasonable to hold a small business to a money losing deal without letting him renegotiate in some way. The alternative is that he shuts it down all together and nobody gets anything, digital or otherwise. You should not expect him to subsidize your enjoyment of this hobby by losing money or working for 3rd world wages.

I will shut up now and watch the fireworks and hope I don’t get banned.

  15. Well, as the guy who started this thread I would like to announce that the 1st Issue in the Subscription that was paid for on Dec 20th 2024 arrived today in Sunny South Grafton, Australia, # 87..........packed well in a padded bag the interesting thing is that it was posted from another Australian State, Victoria, so I'm ***uming that a bulk supply has been sent to Australia where the copies are bagged and forwarded to subscribers here...........I could be completely wrong here, but anyway........
THANK YOU to Steve ****an for perservering, Thank You to whatever system was used to get the copy here and Thank You to whoever is involved in redirecting the copy to Me......I hope everyone gets their copy soon............ .....& I truly hope this is the start of improved things for Steve ****an and The Rodders Journal.

I am looking forward to hearing Larry has finally received issue 87.
There is absolutely no reason why he and a few others haven't, I don't blame them for being mad!

I received mine February 18th 2026 and that seemed like a eternity, it's now July 2nd 2026 and there are still guys waiting, there is no excuse for that!

I will reinterate, TRJ/Steve ****an should take care of his overseas subscribers and get them current before another shipment is sent to the subscribers here in the states HRP

Wonder how many subscribers have given up. Find e-mail address in the magazine: returned bad address. Hard to reach

Well I am an old guy and I would have no interest in a digital issue, I like to read printed stuff. I am a lifetime subscriber and have not gotten my investment back yet but if they would have to start over I would still support them And I would pay a premium for a printed copy

#87 arrived Victoria BC Canada July 8 in a Canada Post Envelope. Inside there was a stuck together mailing label on the cellophane on which I was able to read the backwards address of To Karl Bergktint in Sweden !!

Which leads us to a new question. Will there eventually be magazines sent that were supposed to go out by means of those mailing labels to our foreign friends?
