Well I guess it’s smoked crow time for me. :D
Against all odds I received a package containing my #84 and # 85 today.
I was pleasantly surprised to see the big brown envelope.
It took long enough that I had pretty much given up on it.
But to Steve’s credit it happened.

Emailed and tried to leave another VM last week (mailbox full) in order to get my address updated, no reply (yet).

I'm just hoping the folks who moved in after me kept my # so they can let me know if it shows up. Or if it does show up, I hope they're appreciators of hotrods and custom cars.

Just hiked to the mailbox and found the package with 84&85 in it.
Hot diggitty dogg. Christmas in Cowtown (and during Stampede Week to boot).
Way to go Steve and keep up the fight to save your great mag.
    Cheers.

You guys prolly won't know half of what Steve has been through over the past three years and even less of what's gone down in the last year. Hell, I don't think I do...

Say what you want, but Steve is not a quitter.

  7. Mine arrived here in Australia. Good to see that things are moving forward.
Awaiting issue 86 to be printed. We need this quality magazine to hang around.

  10. A lovely, puffy brown envelope arrived today with #s 84 & 85.. Thanks to Steve and all involved at RJ for their tenacity and perseverance in keeping a wonderful publication available to enthusiasts everywhere despite enormous set-backs.

So the trail went cold as of the middle of July.
    Is that it for TRJ?
I just don't get why some people got their magazines while others like myself and three buddies all of us on Vancouver Island who all paid for their subscriptions in the fall of 2020 have not got their issues even after receiving the promissory letter.

Rodder's Journal is not the only quartely having problems. I noticed I hadn't received a Wheel Hub (I have no idea why I subscribed) for some time so I sent them an e-mail to see if my subscription had expired. To my surprise I still have 7 issues coming and they said they were running way behind but the next issue was at the printers. Where have I heard that before?

Wheel Hub and Truck Hub are of the highest quality. Just not much in them that appeals to me. All great high end quality builds just for the most part not my style. I'm amazed that the mid 6 to 7 figure cars just keep coming. Lot's of discretionary income in this country.

I got e- mails today from all the "hub" magazines. They are running specials on back issues and subscriptions.. I probably will renew the wheel hub magazine. They were giving away back issues at the ROC in Oklahoma last month. I would be satisfied with just getting TRJ going strong again...

Like Ryan says lots going on in Steve's world the last few years. The last time I talked to him he remains upbeat and is moving forward. Lot's of lesser people would have said screw it and walked away.

Hey there Billy, anyone who has anything on the ball knows that the Vikings visited Canada/North America long before Columbus got the idea in his head.
And Columbus didn’t even know it existed he just kinda stumbled on it.

Heres to hoping that now that we received #84 and #85 , #86 will be following when it should be as scheduled.
Back to regular programming as the saying goes.

There are still some Vikings in Minnesota, I hear they ransacked Green bay, WI this last weekend.

That’s amazing, I haven’t received mine in Edmonton yet. I’d be very surprised if it shows up before August or ever for that matter.
