Wally didn't end upp buying that Chevy. Ward advised against it because it was pretty beat. He did end up a Chevy. A 1953 convertible.

There used to be an old black and white TV show where some kid had a light colored 1931 Ford 2 door Phaeton with the fold down windshield and lowered in front. Anyone recall what that show was?

Does anyone know what cl*** Kent McCord's '54 Ford ran in? It says

    F1
    DHR

on the windshield. Was is some local thing in California? As I remember, it had a 427 Ford in it.

Ok Hamb detectives, rewinding to about 1980, there was a made for TV movie, or possibly a miniseries, staring Andy Griffith, wherein he plays a detective or retired cop, has to solve a mystery. But what matters is, he had a handful of pre war Ford projects prominently featured. I can't remember much, Maybe a Model A RPU in several colors? Anyway, I tried googling, but just couldn't get anywhere. Anyone?

I think it was a made for tv movie, might have been several movies with his character. Do a google search for Winter Kill and I think that's the movie. I remember watching it years ago.

I skimmed through that. Not the movie, but thanks. In the one I'm thinking of, Andy was shown driving around in early Fords.

Check out Girl in the Empty Grave. I think he drives a 28/29 RPU in it.

The Kent McCord Ford had Canyon on the doors with another word under the trim that obviously has white gaffer tape over it. I wonder what that was too.

Has anyone mentioned My Mother The Car? Lamest concept for a TV show ever, although there was a hot rod connection in that the car was built by Norm Grabowski.
