Technical Useful Dimensions and Information

Firstly let me say that I've searched and didn't find a similar thread. If there is one please let me know and I'll ask the moderators to close this thread.

I was researching front Ford axle widths today to identify the axles in my stack. I found this in another hamb thread:



This got me to thinking about having hot rod information of any kind located in one easy-to-find location. If you have something to add please do so.

Hmm....don't see the '42 thru '48 Ford pickup axles on the "1928 to 1948 FORD P***enger and Pickup front axles" chart.
I'm so confused now

 

Fun information:

 

@Doublepumper,

I believe that the axles shown are all transverse spring axles and the pickup axles you mention are (I believe) all parallel leaf axles.

If you have the '42 and later pickup information please post it here.

Yep, can't believe all the 18 gauge on there and running 150-200 amps thru 10 gauge. But the other info is good. Done a lot of small block chevies through the years and never paid attention to the crank flange shape.
