Note the valve covers are wrong, but the exhaust looks close.

Cadillac had head bolts in a row below the valve covers, Olds were staggered.
Olds had two bolts through the valve covers, Cadillac had bolts at perimeter.
lots more clues but those are quick and easy.

that Olds looks to be a 324, square end exhaust ports and small rectangular center exhaust port.

 

I shifted it to the Post 65 thread and removed the 'Full Image' from here but the attachment thumbnail has remained. Not sure how to remove that.

You should be fine.

EDIT: When you go in and edit a post, highlighting and deleting he picture does what it did to you. If you select the attachment at the bottom, and remove or delete it there, it will go away.

The picture of the two gentlemen slightly higher on this page has been do***ented as past the cutoff point. It's still here, mainly due to it being pretty much as it could have been in 1965. The letter of the rule is important, but the spirit often determines if stuff is wiped out.

So what is that engine? Looks sort of like SBC, but the valve covers are 2 center bolt? Plugs and exhaust ports are different too. Stude, Olds, Buick?
Similar to the Red one that's ID'ed as Olds. Heads appear to be tapped for upper hoses.
Those headlights are different, too.

At least they have the single PCD center, but that sure isn't budget friendly. A 5 inch wide. 3 inch backspace isn't Reversed, either.

 

i was going to add that the car looks to be an earlier build with "later" tires on it. sometimes the 'purity' thing is a little outta control; as if we all don't fully know hot rods in real life are not time capsules. as rsr says, it's the spirit of things and i'd add there's gray area that common sense and a reasonable discretion should aide in navigating.

who the hell in the early 70s was going out of their way to shop "traditional" and "period correct" bias plies to satisfy some fanatics 50 years later?

 

Snick, I kind of agree, but this is a real cool hangout spot and the rules are laid out.
I like it here and the people I meet.
I wouldn't hand out Cheap Trick 'zines at the punk bar and won't wear my Goth outfit to a VFW potluck.
I have stuff on mine that I know crosses the line and I have posted it here, so I'm at least a misdemeanor. Just trying to explain where the line is even if I have slipped over myself. I am sure not bucking for a mod position!
If we don't self police some as a group, we end up with our cruise night becoming a takeover.

 

Most threads like this one cross the line far worse than the T Bucket one, it's very hard to keep every component pre 65.... a few do but most don't/can't or don't really care. JW

That is certainly similar, but I noticed the one that you posted has a kick up ahead of the firewall and doesn't have the profile similar to a 32 frame underneath the body. In any case, having frame follow the profile of the cowl and not being tucked in under the body is a pretty cool touch.

Yes. The one you commented on and the one I posted are both going to be unchaneled.
I would ***ume both did that for room inside and to have the frame visually follow the body rather than dive under behind the firewall.
Yep, The bare frame is Z'ed or kicked at the firewall.
The other does look kind of like it has the '32 reveal in the side, but that also looks like the hairpin reflection.
