I realized that there are folks that own station wagons that do not adhere to the Hamb friendly rules like the other thread, so lets see your wagons running or not, big wheels or not. But remember the wagon must be yours and not some photo you took at a car show., lets see what you have. HRP
I consider my Ford Flex to be a station wagon, although some would call it a crossover. 365hp twin turbo all wheel drive with 5000lb towing capacity
No pictures - None of these are memorable.. $25.00 1969 Opel Kadett wagon with the 1,100 cc engine. Threw a used transmission into it and drove it to work and night school for a couple of years. Used 1972 Chevelle wagon. Drove it from MA to AZ in July of 1979. No AC (I was much younger then ). Every time I closed the tailgate, some rust fell on the ground... Used 1982 Malibu wagon. We were finally more prosperous, it was late model, low mileage and had working AC. Lost it in a divorce in 1986 - I think I remember a couple of Country and Western songs about the divorce process.... And a few years ago (I was in my late 70's and looking for "one-more-project-car"), a 1966 122 Volvo wagon. It had a WA ***le, and eventually had more hidden rust than I expected. My fault, I grew up in New England and "should" know better. Took my loss and sold it to Jim Forbes @squirrel for $100. This was going to be a Lemons vehicle - But he found a ****pier (and less rusty) vehicle. Russ
I don't have any wagons right now, but I've owned a few. First was the family 67 Fury III that my dad bought when it was only a year or two old. I learned how to fix cars by keeping it running for him when I was a teenager. This was right before I got rid of it in December 1983. I guess it was a nice car, and would be worth something today. It had the 2bbl 383 and rear AC, along with the 3rd row seat, and factory cruise control. The cruise and AC hardly ever worked, even when it was almost new. That Volvo wagon... when I got it from Russ, it looked ok from a distance, but the car was rusty, ran on 3 cylinders, and used oil like crazy. The parking brake didn't work because the floor around the lever was rusted away. I ended up giving it to one of my kids, who got a DUI in it 8 years ago, and hasn't driven since. I got it back a few years ago, and promptly sold it for about $3k, because people will pay way too much for junk, even if you tell them it's a bad idea for them to do so.
I had an 80s caprice cl***ic station wagon in high school. That thing was awesome. Crashed it, like many other cars I had at that age, lol. Technically on paper our Bronco is a station wagon, but I don't think that counts.... Our Wrangler was too of course, but never considered any of those style rides wagons..
I don’t know if my 08 Ford Expedition qualifies as a wagon but it does in my world. I’ve had the boat, camper and car trailering tool since the spring of 2012. I absolutely love it even with the three valve in it…
Our latest wagon. 52 Plymouth Suburban 2 door station wagon. Off topic because it on a Dakota ch***is with an EFI 3.9 V6, OD auto trans. I don't have any pictures of our old station wagons, but there have been a few. We had a 1966 Dodge Coronet wagon with a poly 318, 727 and 8 3/4 rear end with a 3.23 geared sure grip. I bought as a junker, and ended up driving it 3-4 years before i parted it out. We had a 67 Plymouth station wagon, it was a slant 6 3 speed on the tree. I used it about 6 months, then it became a parts donor for the 66 Dodge above. We had a 71 Dodge Polara Station wagon. It had a 383 4bbl, 727, 3/4 with an open 3.23 rear. Used it to drag our dirt track car to the local track for a couple of years. One night the race car needed a fuel pump, I pulled the fuel pump off the wagon, put it on the race car, raced all night, then had to swap the pump back onto the wagon so it could tow the race car and trailer home. We had a 76 Plymouth fury station wagon, it had a 400 big block. I think we used it a couple of years. We had a 78 Plymouth gran Fury station wagon for a short time, it was a very good looking car, someone wanted it way more then I did. There was a Plymouth Trailduster and a couple of Dodge Ramchargers, (think a Mopar version of a Blazer), if you consider them station wagons. Around our house (until the 52 Plymouth showed up), most station wagons were pretty much treated as enclosed trucks. I worked them hard, and they served me well.

I have a 65 Buick Sportwagon. I put an experimental Buick engine in it (SBC) and 200 4r trans. Going to put a 9" 350 posi real soon.
Built this one, 302 efi, t5, only 58,000 miles. Had a v6 auto when I got it 1982 Mercury cougar, two year only car. CN
I am a wagon guy for sure.....have had a series of BMW 5 series wagons starting with an E34, then an E39 and finally the E61 in the picture. Sold the last BMW a year or two ago as it was getting up there mileage wise and starting to worry me. Recently jumped into the "other" German wagon option, a 2017 MB E400, in the pic. So far, so good. A great replacement for the BMW...until I can afford the new BMW M5 wagon !
was the “kid car” slow but insanely reliable, unmatched visibility, made many trips back and forth from Ny to WI. Probably still running. Plus I liked the ugly used car lot vibe in the driveway when it was parked by my beater pickup.
Earlier today I posted pics of my wagon on the other wagon thread and they disappeared. I guess somebody decided they didn't conform to the "rules". A '57 with shiny paint must not qualify? I'll try again here, but if these don't make it, I am done posting. I bet most of you have not seen one of these: '57 Dodge Suburban 2-door wagon Chrysler 300 IRS, 14" Chrysler disc brakes, Schott wheels, two 17 gal fuel tanks (one filler). 2019 5.7 hemi, 5sp A/T, power R&P steering Modified Challenger heated seats, power windows including tailgate, power door locks, power adjust pedals, A/C, one piece headliner. The color changes depending on the light, from dark burgundy to brilliant maroon like in the engine photo. Finished in April 2023. Darryl T
My uncle bought a 1967 Dodge Polara station wagon for a winter beater in 1982 for $200. I remember the power rear window going down and not coming back up again. He put a couple of new tires on it, then the transmission went a few weeks after he bought it. I think he got $50 for it from a junkyard. A very rare car today. I bought a 1995 Saturn SW2 in 1997 and drove it for fifteen years and 350k miles. It eventually got named The War Wagon. My son bought it and drove it for five more before the suspension mounting points rusted away. It had 415k on it and still ran like a top. It was a very useful vehicle that would haul just about anything. I used to take the p***enger seat out and put 8' 2x4's in it.
Had four wagons over the years. First was an 82 Ford ****** shich my uncle gave us when I was in university. My sister and mom were almost killed in it when my sis tried to p*** a car on a two lane road. I think it had a whopping 62? hp. Next was an 87 Subaru GL just after I got married. Loved that thing. After having our first daughter it was a 99 Volvo V70. Loved that thing, but the trans/transfer case burned up twice towing my boat. Then we got an 05 Subaru Legacy GT with the 5-sp. That thing was a rocket for what it was. Still dte of getting a Merc AMG wagon one day. lol!
