Not a 40 Ford, but a 38 Ford four door from Finland. Body is similar...

Here is another four door. I'am not sure what this realy is.. it has some 39-40 Ford lines, but also Lincoln elements.... anyhow I really like the look of the chopped top with slanted windshield.

Rik, at first blush I thought that the green four door with flames was a '38 or '39 Hudson. But, the more I looked the more I knew that wasn't right as the hood was all wrong. Now, the more I look the more I think that you are right with your guess being a Zepher with '39 or '40 Ford front end treatment. Could be wrong, but now that's my guess. Anyone else got an idea as to what it is?

That green more-door with flames looks like a 39 or 40 Mercury to me. Could be wrong. Could be right. Could be that nobody cares.

Sweet Rikster. That first one is a 39 Standard. Yeah, I know, virtually the same.

Those both finnish cars are equipped with their original flatheads, only adds their character imho. The first one belongs to my old friend Kalu. He originally built a nice ´56 Ford which was rolled down the edge during the hill climb couple years ago. Sorry off-topic. --mika
