My stalled Model A project

I started with 1930 Cowl, doors and an AA truck ch***is...............the back half of the body is fabricated.

These pics might not suit this thread but I like Model A's, I like this thread and I want to finish my build. It does it for me

Those taillights look very good. I love it when someone can find a different taillight for their hot rod.

 

Might want to read up on what this site is about, and the rules for posting.

 

Didn’t mean to offend. We were putting indepent front and rear suspensions under street rods in the late fifties and early sixties, like those out of Jaguars and Corvair/Corvettes. If that’s the problem, I respectfully apologize and ask the mods to remove my post!

Otherwise, please explain?

 

I honestly don’t see ANYTHING in my post that violates those rules. The independent suspension is merely something that has been done since the late fifties early sixties and I recall seeing several instances that appeared in old magazines and at car shows from back when I was ten years old (1963).
I understand that I’m new HERE, but I’ve been around street rods since before I started school (1958/59) and if there’s nothing “electronic/computer controlled/generated”, whats the problem?

 

IFS, IRS and modern wheels are for Street Rods.
This site is dedicated to period correct Hot Rods and Customs, not vintage Street Rods.

 

I reckon that I’m not welcome here. I see billet and fibergl***, lexan and plastics, four link suspensions, and “modern wheels”on many vehicles featured here, but updated versions of old stuff that we were putting under cars for as long as I can remember, (and I can remember Eisenhower endorsing Nixon) shouldn’t disqualify the car from being a “Hot Rod”!!

I’m not trying to be contrary, but you’re saying that this isn’t the place for me, if I’m understanding you, right??

 

So sorry! It was my impression and lifelong understanding that “Hotrodding” was building it better, faster, more powerful! I thought…. Nevermind what I thought. This is not what I’m looking for and I will ask that you excuse me from any further conversation. I respectfully request that my membership here be cancelled and I will trouble you no more.

Or…..you could just post it on the other forum on here. Or just ask @Moriarity to move it for you. Plenty of exposure there.
