Well I posted a thread about this 46 Chrysler business coupe (3 window) that I might buy... I was wondering if you guys had any pics you can post up of some of these things fixed up? I call it a 3 window but that probably isn't the right term. I'd appreciate any pics here guys!
Did a Google Image search & came up with this: http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:XbMEofpuWt36gM:http://www.carroantigo.com/imagens/evolucao/1948_chrysler.JPG
bidness coupe, 3 window, same ride. Some folks call 'em 3 windows ans others bidness coupes. There have been a few here on the HAMB in the last couple of years or so. but I wouldn't know how to begin searching for 'em. Maybe one of the fellas will see this and post their rides. I think shoe peddled one cheap last summer if I recall.
Thanks for the info, hopefully they will post. I cannot find any online for some reason. Only saw about 5 total online and two were from Carnut.com... :?

Thanks for those pics! I like the stance of those two. How does the original front ends on these things ride? Any good with dropped uprights and dropped springs to get about 4-5 inches lower in the front? The 3 window looks a big odd and the front end looks huge and long but also it's something different.
I am trying to decide if I should go just plain gloss black or that dark metallic purplish maroon color like the Holden car that I seem to always refer to built by the GM guys in Aus.
The front suspension is Independent, with upper and lower A arms and anti sway bar. They use Kingpins but you can get dropped spindles for them. The frame is fully boxed back to under the drivers seat. The only funky part is the front shocks are attached betweenthe A frames, and only move through the difference in the travel of the A frames arc, based on their unequal length. With new bushings and shocks, they ride pretty nice. Steering is manual so tight maneurvering is a task but once under way they are a nice driving car. There are shortened springs available, and disc brake kits also. If you want to go all modern an stuff an Early 2wd Dakota clip is the nutz. Plus it will give you mounts for V6 through 360 or maybe enven current "hemi", and torqueflite. Wheel lug pattern is the same as stock wheels. Yea the hood looks a little funny. Short cars like the Plymouth have full lenght hood trim, while the Chashler spear is shorter and makes the hood look longer. The headlights are positioned differently than the rest of the MOPAR line. They certainly do not look like the rest of teh line they are parked in.
