Hot Rods I want a California Kid driver

It’s then a “Cal Kid” as Pete didn’t have an interior during his time with it during the filming and onto sale to Cris Carrier who fixed all of the things that the studio “Roughed Up” and repainted the front fenders masking the flames and replacing a windshield repairing a broken right front shock and putting a 32 seat along with a complete interior that is partially still there as the seat is doing time in the ex-Billy Vinther 34 Coupe residing presently in NZ. The Kid has Boyd’s Buckers since around late 1982.
You’ve got quite a “Kid”.

 

I had planned to just drive it with the bench seat. But my observations of onlookers suggested that a nicer interior would be preferred.

Sound deadening insulation, carpet, door panels and a headliner will be the goal.

Would a line lock on the rear brake line achieve the same? Although not much use if a complete brake failure.

 

Ah my bad that pulls the cables. If there is no power in the car Im ***uming it doesnt function?

 

Has to have power. Won't release without power. Nice for parking. A thief can't roll it away
