Our small town had a car show Sunday. They were lucky to get it in since we have had so much rain lately.
Not a lot of HAMB friendly stuff but I did get some pictures that I thought were worthy. THE END!

Yes. that pink Coral Mist was a factory Ford color.
My parents ordered a new '55 Sunliner in Coral Mist over Black.
For years it was referred to by our family as "Ol' Pink and Black".

Mother's Day card I made in Art Cl*** for my Mom...was a junior in high school.

  10. Upon reviewing the pictures (and your avatar) , I realized it was not fair to ask you which was the nicest 32 of the ones you shared. Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks for the pics Mark. Looks like a good turn-out and a nice variety of cars. The organisers should be happy with that.

Around 1963 my friend had a 56 or 56 Ford convertible in that Pink color, wound up having an accident in upstate NY and totaled it.

I used to party with Les Dunham every year at Hershey.
    Dunham Coach
In 1981 I mentioned to him my Mom had quit driving her '55 Convert and said I was bringing it to Hershey to sell. Les said "I'll be up to your place in 4 hours" (3-1/2 hour drive) and bought it.
His brother ended up with it, Brought it to Hershey in '85 or '86, Fully restored, still pink & black and absolutely beautiful.

Nice pictures! I lived in Polo as a kid from late 1956 to late 1958. I went to half of kindergarten all of first grade and half of second grade at Congress School. My folks ran the Cozy Cafe and my Dad worked in Mt. Morris at a printing company called Cable, if my memory is correct. We lived in a house on Franklin across the street from a Catholic Church. In the summer of 1957 my Dad bought a new 1957 Buick Special from Bomburger and Sons dealership. 60 Special
