Went and looked at this car this week. It sold earlier this year for $16k, the seller has done some nice improvements like a fuel cell, battery relocate, new radiator, ect ect. We agreed on what I thought was a reasonable number, $17,500, but I am on the fence about buying it.

I want something to drive until my '55 is done. Then I'll probably resell this. Is $17,500 fair?

    Is $17,500 fair?

Might as well ask, "Does this dress make me look fat? Value is subjective but you couldn't build it for that. IMO

I'd say that was a fair price, looks like a fun driver and only thing I see is the interior isn't done.

    Damn son!!
    That thing is cool!

you can’t buy anything close to that for less than £20k here.

I’d be literally throwing that nasty stereo over my shoulder as I screamed down the street.

    Congrats sir

Sorry, I did a really poor job communicating that. I did not buy it yet. I was asking because I wanna make sure the value is there for when I want to resell it down the road when my 55 is done.

At least that that’s what I tell my wife LOL

Facebook isn't working on my computer right now for some unknown reason. Do you have any pics of it you can post?

That car looks so good, I immediately thought "SCAM".

  11. I'd say that's a fair price, but don't expect to make any real money on a resale...

I'd just want to break even or even lose a $1k.

  15. You couldn't buy the car around here for that money...the only potential downside is the FG body...that said, I don't think you'll be hurt when (if) it comes time to sell.

Here's some pictures, if I were the seller I might not have posted the fourth one.
