This one looks like he was hauling *** through someone’s back yard and hit some lawn furniture. But it still makes more sense than quite a few others in this thread…

That home made orchard tractor shows some real farmer ingenuity! Not wrong at all in my book. Some folks think farmers are rubes and wouldn't recognize the problem solving, can do at***ude that makes things happen in that world. That tractor served a purpose, I'm sure. Farmers don't waste energy or resources to build something cool.

Moline had built a full fendered tractor with a cab before the compe***ion did .1938 UDLX model . I’ve read that the tractor was popular with rural mail carriers. Because of road conditions.

The tractor posted with the Chevy cab looks to be well thought out and nicely built . The back of the cab was finished with a rounded edge . The hood was cut and fitted to the tractor. Thumbs up to the builder

@Okie Pete - yes indeed. Dang if he didn't cut the windshield, also! Guess he had two tries, cutting up a pair of trucks..
Here's my favorite orchard tractor - an Oliver.

That shouldn’t happen to a Dodge Coronet, it really shouldn’t.

There's a story that Lamborghini owned a Ferrari and needed a new clutch. Bought a new clutch from Ferrari, only to discover that it was a Lamborghini tractor clutch with a Ferrari price tag on it. After an argument with Enzo, he decided to build his own sports car, and the rest is history.

Close, it was an argument between Ferruccio Lamborghini and Enzo Ferrari where the Ferrari clutches kept failing and Enzo quiped back "The car is fine, the problem is you only know how to drive tractors, not Ferraris" That spurred Ferruccio to start Automobili Lamborghini in 1963 to build his own.

Man, it's hideous. No doubt. Looks like a hemi wagon done wrong? But when it comes to customs, that's the deal right? Plenty of customs from the cl***ic era I find hideous. But whoever built it probably loves it. And good on them....

I have to agree with @210superair. In my eyes its ugly but I have to admit it looks pretty well executed. I definitely couldn't do any better. As mentioned before, most of that stuff that Chad does is ugly and there is another fella on YouTube that builds weird stuff as well. But that's my opinion for what it is worth, cheers

If I was at an auction and saw this it would be VERY hard for me not to bid on it, even if just to drive to get a coffee. Its so wrong its right and well executed. Please DONT tell me what it sold for...

  28. Agreed- the builder did not create this to piss off someone in the future that thinks of old trucks with white walls as cool customs. They took some dime a dozen parts from some old trucks to build a cab on one of the bigger tractors of the day to keep from freezing as they tried to make a living earlier in the spring and later into the fall, in a mother of invention sort of way.
