yea, so heres the deal, i got this t sedan when i was 17, and i started workin on it, little bits at a time, but my mom got sick, so work ceased, anyways, im back to workin on the thing, built my own frame outta 2x3 tubing, gonna run a 36 axle if i can find one, i got the 28 axle on there now....not the look i was going for. Ford 9 inch rear, gonna run a triangulated fourbar...gonna have a built 283 and an auto in it, still gotta shorten the wheelbase, when i made my frame, i made my framerails extra long...so i didn't screw myself over...galaxie tailights, frenched in, and, thats my friend jon, making engine noises...anyways, tell me what you think??

Looks like you're off to a good start. I can't really see much of the frame to tell what's goin' on there, but the Galaxie tail lights are kickin' me in the shorts.

Cool mock up, I'd have to chop it though. Looks like you have a few projects going on.

I think it's channeled too much and the tail lights don't match the tires.

But i like the stock roofline.

I'd have to agree, the taillights scream for some sixties-styled wheels, like Plowboy's truck and roadster. There isn't a whole lot of room if you chop it, too much channel and things are going to get pretty tight.

Its hardly channeled at all. The top of the frame is even with the subrails. The frame is kicked up both front and rear. Might explain why it looks so channeled...i had first planned to use a dropped axle...so i basically took the measurements off a friends frame who was running a dropped axle. But im diggin the undropped axle. So ima hafta run spring behind...but thanks for yalls imput...

  15. I like everything about it. maybe you should do something different with the rims. but tires are just fine.

Looks good. I'll agree with the rest of the bunch on the taillights really wanting that thing to have some 60's rims on there! Much more than I have, and I'm 18 and wanting a project myself... Lol.

The tailights are a bit large but I really dig 'em. And I also really like the fact that it's not chopped. I would say you've got the workings of something quite slick there.

    hi,

    1. those tail lights are neat! if you can make them work with the rest of the design you'll have a weiner, i mean winner.

    2. i think you should paint your rims just like bobbleed painted the rims on his bleedster (see pic below).

    3. t's look the bestest with a 2" chop.

    4. your body is sitting too low relative to the wheels. bring it up just enough so that the wheelwell arches are exposed.

that could work! The problem with the T's is the firewall is so dang small, so you'll need the engine REAL low in there so it doesn't look wierd. You really don't want anyhting but the intake sticking up over the top in my opinion. I LOVE the tail light treatment!

that panel truck is my fathers, and the 30-31 sedan is my next project, i picked it up from an old farm, the owner goes to my church, i thought i was getting a good deal on just the body, but then it turned out i got a frame, some banjo rear ends, and enough parts to make a 30-31 roadster...i'd say i came out good in the end...

Looks like you're off to a great start!

I think it's great for you to hear what we all think, but ultimately do what you think looks cool, it's your project!

For instance I happen to like your 28-29 axle. I'd just drill it. Here's what mine is looking like.

    Above all have fun!
