It's got good styling, I wouldn't worry about it being 70's. Pete and Jake's rods were built in the 70's.
I wouldn't call a toyota engine a "Hemi". The japanese have stolen enough from the American Automotive Industry, they don't need to take trademarks too. Let them buy the trademarks like Daimler-Benz did! Jk.
Wow.... that is easy on the eyes...! Surely would make for a nice poster or callendar or just a nice pic on any club webpage.
I wasn't sure how I would feel about the Hemi OR the key pad... but I have to say that friggin' car is rad and PLEASE don't change it!!! True survivor or a really good replication of a survivor! AWESOME!
I don't have any before pictures because when I bought it I took it to my parents garage and detailed it right away because my girlfriend was expecting a ring. so it didn't appear home until spring time. The good thing is that she still with me but will never understand.
HAAA!!! I love it!! Covert operations for sure! Very few will, so just make sure she knows what she's in for! Did you offer to take her for a ride yet? Does she resent the car yet??
Okay, my only gripe, is the plastic fan. It's horrible. The rest of the car is fan-freakin-tastic. Seriously. Sell it to someone who won't touch a thing before you change it. It's a survivor. Someone put a lot of time into hooking up a dialpad to start it. And put a lot of care into that little Toyota. So I gotta ask, does it start with just one number, or do you have to punch in a code? How do you shut it off?
It's got a 4 number code and the lights are the pound ****on and the horn is the star ****on and the kill switch is #2
