Technical Wheels and Tires

    What wheels and tires do you guys suggest for a mildly rodded '40 Ford pickup. Mildly, as in, lowered front and back 2". I put a 9" rear end in with modern 5 bolt ford pattern lugs and disc brakes up front with the same pattern. I just want the tires to fill the wheel wells and look compatible. Front and rear can be the same size, think.

    15” Black steelies with spiders. I think they looked great on my 46 Chevy.

    not a 40 Ford but 205'sx 15's front and 235's by 15's rear, would look good on your 40.

    Yep, slight rubber stagger on chrome reverse please.:D

    I my 40 world it's hard to beat hub caps & trim rings with a nice 2 color pin stripe around the outside of the cap on the wheel. I go both ways black walls or white walls.

    Auburn Deluxe tires on my truck has 820's in back on 15x8, 560's in front on 15X6.
