I took 700 pictures because they are free. I went all 3 days and took multiple pics of the cars I really liked, different times of day with different sun, shadows and reflections. I'd say I took a picture of everything I thought was worth taking a picture of. I am a big fan of digital cameras.

 

interesting idea, my last name is very Scottish so they can't say no, and it would be a lot cooler, but I would worry about chafing. don't know how the real Scottish deal with these annoyances.

I'd worry more about updrafts. I wore my kilt in a golf tournament in the Portland Highland Games a decade ago. Won the thing I did, sweaty balls but no chafing as I recall. Great pics mate! Either you have a p***ion for 36's, or there were a lot of them to choose from.

Me too. I've shot photos since the days of 12 exposures on a roll of film. Although "YRMV", I think no comparison.
A guy like you with a camera at an event like this has to be a little like a kid in a candy store - which way do ya go next!!? So THANK YOU for all your work! It's a huge part of what makes the H.A.M.B. such a cool place.

A little background . . . My family & the Meadors family have been friends since 1970 . . . my father, "Deuce Bruce" Olson & Gary "Goodguy" Meadors were best friends . . . When my father p***ed away in October of 1990, Gary asked me to pick a car in dad's honor at the Goodguys West Coast Nationals (held every August in Pleasanton, California) . . . I've been doing just that since 1991.
