Technical Needing small GM clutch disc

Why not? 10 spline and 1.125" hub?

 

LaSalle input shafts are 1 1/4", not 1 1/8", like the disc you're looking to get.

 

Even if the OD of the spline was machined there is what’s known as the minor diameter on splines, that will need machining as well.

 

Boy howdy if that's not a big woopsie. I've been reading that as 1.123 this whole time. Im about to hang it up with this trans and go back to the ford.

The shaft is 1.23" 1/4" larger that I had it in my head.

 

you mean 1/8" larger than you had in your head.

Borg Warner 99344 or 99377 are 9" with 1-1/4" x 10 spline

99344 fits British cars. 1952-68

99377 fits British cars early 70s.

The only one I've found close so far is early 70s TR-6, but it's 8.5" diameter disk, 1-1/4 x 10 spline

this one might be 9" diameter, call them and find out. Or just ask if they have one that's the right specs.

 

I confirmed this is a 9" disc

 

Back when I had my MGTD I dealt with a guy at Moss (parts manager?) who was more than helpful with oddball questions and requests. Don't know if he is still there but my guess is that someone there could help.
