All of the Brit bikes of this era are so cool! I guess the American one are too. Good time for motorcycles!
Can’t stress enough to wear your PPE when riding . Rode the Shovel to my parents yesterday to mow gr*** for them . On the way home a loaded dump truck tossed a baseball sized rock and hit me just right of center of my chest . It hit hard enough that it ripped my shirt . For an instant I was thinkin “ the new management’s ( girl friend) ex-husband just shot me “ . If it would have struck my face or head with no brain bucket it would not of been a good outcome . Makes me think about all I see riding with shorts and flip flops with the at***ude that it will never happen to me . Be careful and ride smart .
Ive never been down but I have to agree with you. Common sense should prevail. After nearly 60 years of riding, I am comfortable with my skills, but I have absolutely no confidence with the *****s who do not have skills but have stuff like cell phones and other distractions. I worry about the youngsters on the crotch rockets wearing tank tops, shorts, tennis shoes, and are wearing helmets for a false state of confidence. Thanks for sharing your experience.
^^^ I've noticed around here it can be those neo-bikers on vee twin barges who try to kill you. I'm careful when I see them coming at me.
Leon, I know that you are not talking about the newly retired man who buys a fully dressed out bagger, orders ten grand worth of chrome, gets three grand in leathers, and has the gas tanks half full after two weeks.
