Technical I just need somebody to identify this dash board

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Atomic Reverend Alexander, Aug 29, 2026.

  1. I went to an estate sale this morning (Friday morning) in the high desert of Southern California and I found this dash board . I'm just trying to figure out what it came out of I'm not really looking to resell it (unless it's worth a fortune then I will kick it down the road so I can invest the money into my model A lol). Anyways where the gauges would have been is a really unique cut out and it looks kind of fancy and I was hoping somebody had a picture of one that was complete and they can tell me what it is because I want to find the gauges that go in it not because I actually want to run it I just want to hang it on the wall.
Anyways pardon my terrible pictures it was dark when I finally got it out of my truck so I put it on the garage floor where I thought I had the best light I tried to do it outside of the garage but my flash on my new phone is pretty terrible.

I am thinking it's Packard how close am I?

  3. I do believe you solved my mystery almost immediately at that.
    Thank you.
I probably looked at 60 different cars from 28 through about 32 but I don't think Buick ever crossed my mind.
    What a great looking dashboard.

  4. If you find a decent gauge cluster for a reasonable price it might be a idea to make a restoration project out of it and then hang it on the wall. The woodgraining is not really nec***ary.
