Event Coverage Old forge company is a step back in time

Just North of Boston is C***idy Bros. Forge. Vinny has open houses in the yard out back-that's a whole other thread. Today I walked through the operations

 

A few cars showed up for the open house

 

Very cool shop. That is one big anvil I see there.

 

I like the old shops and the old machines. here is one, W. A. Young Foundry in Rices Landing, Greene Co Pa. right on the Mon River. worked on the steam boats that moved coal

 

I can almost smell those places. Nobody is walking off with That avnil!

 

Wow. Impressive!

 

Dayum nice! I love seeing the open belt drive machines

 

Gosh, I love places like that.
