I was going to install carpet this week. I’m going to hold off until I get the window weather stripping and door seals replaced. With all the rain I did get some water inside , not a lot but…
I also need to get the doors lined up good for a good seal. I was also hoping to get paint and body done before winter, maybe we’ll see.

One thing I will mention from my own experience and from reading of others. The folded up replacements do not just drop in. Pros use steam and a bunch of effort. I've thought that some sort of sandbags (heavy and shape conforming) would be a good way to get much closer. Give them time and adjust until things fit well before t******* and poking holes for console/seats/belts.

 

I have a brother that does magic with carpet, I’ll buy the carpet he’ll cut to size and form
