A conversation I had with Rocky about his truck...
    Rocky:
I paid $450 for mine. It had no box so I got a 27T box at the swap meet for $250. Then I bought a whole 40 Ford rusted out ch***is with a good running flathead in it for another 250. The 46 Ford rear axle was already in the ch***is when I bought it. I didn’t have very much money in it. I think the most expensive thing was the transmission adapter. Got it from speedway if I remember right and had to cut about 3/8 of an inch off the pilot shaft. Nothing deal.

Plus, I chopped mine, 5 1/2 inches. My head never touched the ceiling.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot what I paid for all of that fancy upholstery in it. I found an old Ford van seat sitting next to a dumpster in the weather. I took it home, dried it out. I had shorten it up a little bit so it would fit, and that was my interior .

Tuck it ,it was a 59 AB with an adapter and a T5 with an open driveshaft back to a 46 Ford truck pick up rear axle

This build inspired many into the traditional style. Id say it hit the hamb about 20 years ago.

I can still remember cutting around Omaha in the snow slush in it. With the dumpster buffalo Hyde seat lol.

I’ve watched the video of your winter trip dozens of times. I’ve since lost it but I had saved a photo of it parked in the snow with snow up, possibly over, the front axle.

I’ve added it to plenty of “hot rod in the snow threads”

core memory truck for certain. That little garage was a magical place.

@HOTRODPRIMER last I knew someone around the twin city’s in Minneapolis had it? It had showed up at back to the 50’s a few times. If I’m remembering correctly and it’s still around that area I’d think Tuck or maybe @***us would know if it was around?
