Ricky. Love the car! If there is a next step, how about nosing and decking? Then, instead of trying to match the existing paint, "finish" the job with some red oxide primer. Just my thoughts and remembrances from my youth.

Thanks bud, hood centre strip is from my pals 49 chevy truck.
The grille centre is the stock centre piece trimmed down and the bumper overriders turned sideways on the ends.
I wish i could afford to re-chrome it but hey ho!!

Looks great to me. Only thing that stands out as not traditional looking is the radiator. Look better if it was semi gloss black. I know we have to sacrifice looks for function some times.

Believe me the thought crossed my mind more than once I do have an electric fan, which is not traditional, but I could not fit a mechanical fan there the way I have it set up But she stays cool It’s a US Radiator and 16 inch SPAL fan with the be cool fan switch Car never really goes over 195 which is good

Your accessory ****erfly steering wheel is really nice. Those are one of the prettiest wheels ever. Very nice hardtop overall, I like what you’ve done to a great body style.

    Great cruiser
Seems like we all try to build the cars of our youth, at least in our minds
    You nailed it
