If everyone east of Mississippi would face west and blow we could get some of that. There are not enough of us, so ****ing is not the answer.

    Ouch...
    Feeling bad for you...
Looks like PA folks need to start building on stilts, like they did long ago in the FL wetlands, LA bayous too. Hotrod boats & air-boats next???
Hope you get out of both situations soon. To your better n happier Future... :D .

Well… it is as bad as the last one. Just cancelled holiday weekend plans and I’ll be heading to the place tomorrow night.

    Good grief.

Really sorry you have to deal with this again. You have a lot of stuff that should never be under water. Here it is fire.

I’ll miss you too pal. I’ll be back and forth to Mifflinburg until the house sells. If I have a bit of time I’ll give you a call.

Not to make light of the situation(s), but I have envisioned a hot-rodded Weasel, which would be right up your alley(uhhh, slough?, now-wetlands?, almost Atlantis???, ;( ), other than the cost...
I have not seen, although would like to, a hotrodded submarine. Back in the late 40's->early 60's, Pop Mech & Pop Sci had a few articles on building your own submersible, but those weren't quite submarines as usually thought of. Still...
    & maybe powered surfboards??? :D .
    Sorry... couldn't resist... :D ...
It's not actually funny, but sometimes if you don't laugh, all you do is cry, & cry, etc... ;( .

You’re a funny and lighthearted gent, Marcus. I’m a historian at heart. Once the jalopy is “done”, we’re starting in on an 1890s New Haven oystering sharpie (sailboat) that was endemic on the coast here. I made drawings and offsets years ago. That boat was a hot rod from the time it touched water.

Ryan, great to see you back on here. Sorry about the flooding, but congrats on the move. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help from afar.

    Thanks, Joey!

I came back to PA to deal with the flood mess, but took the better part of today to drive down to Zach’s and get some hot rod therapy. This heap has the steering back in and the windshield fitted.

When were living in Texas Dad told me Texas didn't float into the Gulf because it was secured with bailing wire. But he was born on an Oklahoma homestead so he may have thought Oklahoma didn't **** that much.

She ain’t flat. Shocking, I know. About 0.013” high between cylinders 2 and 3. Seems like with the great blob of br***, it might be prudent to leak check it before it gets surfaced. Thoughts?

One of the cool things about brazing is that if it doesn't work you get do-overs. Just be sure you prep so the cracks don't grow.

& drill the ends of the crack... before more heating/brazing/welding...
But leak-checking old used stuff is always prudent. :) . At least then you *know* ;) ...
