Event Coverage Lloydfest IV

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Lloyd's paint & glass, Mar 6, 2026.

  1. It was full last year!! We are looking forward to seeing everyone!!

  2. Ok Brother,

That one made me "Laugh Out Loud" !!!!

I am just back from a very long & rough 9 day 8500 mile lap of the country set up specifically to be home for a few days before we leave. Our Journey starts Sunday with the truck/trailer with Prissy in it headed down to the Sevierville, Tn area to give Laura the opportunity to see her newest Grandson for the 1st time, then to our cabin on Thursday to give her a couple of hours to recover as the drive beats her up, before the dinner at the Country Club!!!

The 1st full day on this trip, I was wondering if Lloydfest IV would be just a heart breaking miss, but God was watching out for me & we WILL be there!

DON 'T MISS THE FUN FOLKS!!! Can't explain it, but the "Core Crazies" know it!

    God Bless
    Bill

I won't make IV, but I was thinking of Lloyd as I drove north through KY today on I-75.

That's all I use a toothbrush for as I lost my real teeth years ago! Just used it again today but I need to get a new one as my old one is worn out! I had to use my wife's today and I ain't telling her! Sorry Llyod but it looks like I'm gonna miss your shin-ding again. Have fun! Parts- not tighty whities.

We likely won't see you there, but we'll be arriving Sevierville Tuesday evening to visit with Sherry's family before heading up to Camargo later in the week.

Last year we left Camargo and took two-lanes pretty much all the way to the Knoxville area (Sevierville and Maryville). This year we're doing Tennessee before LF so will probably hit I-75 most of the way to LF. See ya in Camargo.

Don't look for Clarence as he's still in jail. We'll be in the same Equionox we were in at the original (1st) LF.

From here to Sherry's relatives is 12 hours each way so last year and this we're combining family and LF, which are less than 4 hours apart.

Hey, @kls50 I've found that the cheap HF br*** brushes work better than tooth brushes, last longer, and don't upset sweetie.

  9. We will be in Kodak (just north of Sevierville) from Monday afternoon till Thursday morning. Laura is so excited to take her grandson Max for a ride in Prissy with the roof off!:D

Back in the old days I used to start in the Maryville area & would make stops all the way down to Atlanta stopping at all the junk yards buying doors, bumpers, etc to sell to Cleveland, Ohio area body shops & junk yards. I did this every other week for about 20 years!

  11. Sorry guys, not gonna make this one. I have retired and am trying to downsize by selling off some things. I am also trying to get in with the local harness racing track, running equipment. Post lots of pictures and make me jealous I am not there.
With any luck I hope to be there next year with my Model A hot rod.
I am sad to miss the band. a definite ***et to Lloydfest.

IMG_4450.jpeg I’m about as ready as I can be! I now have a functioning fuel gauge thanks to @gene-koning. Didn’t get the alignment dialed in where I want oh well. Here we come ready or not.

    Bill,

By helicopter you'll be just about exactly 5 miles straight north of my sister-in-laws house. Off and on we'll be there this week, but mostly we'll be in the Maryville area.
