Projects And so it begins…cleaning the garage

I have a neighbor who after his mother p***ed away cleaned out the old garage to the house that he grew up in back in the’60s . He let an alleyway s****per haul it out for free and never asked if I had a need for any of it. There was a lot of 283 parts and other older small block stuff involved. Makes a grown man cry.

 

My harbor freight tore itself apart this winter forcing me to move everything into a tiny shed i can't even stand up in.
I've been trying to get rid of parts for years but it always seems like the time and effort out weigh anything i sell the parts for.

 

Well, PM me and I'll stop by on the way home. I can't guarantee I'll take anything with me, but it would be nice to put a face to a name.

 

@finn, I drove by a small cabin yesterday, and he had 2 sea-cans spaced apart on a gravel bed, but the neat part was he installed trusses on top of them, creating a breezeway, or parking spot between the two. Sea-cans were painted to match the siding on his cabin, so they blended right in.

 

If only my town would allow this. I can have three, four sheds, as long as they look like “real” buildings, but shipping containers, only for very short term use, like a contractor for a portable office and safe space.
