Sure. Our servers are being hammered by bots s****ing the site. These bots are coming from government IP addresses. Do I know this is the FCC? I do not… it’s a best guess given they put us on a list sent to header bidding agencies stating we were one of hundreds of thousands of sites with a moral incompatibility. Why was Atomic on this list? I do not know. is this legal? No.
I turned off bot fight mode on CloudFlare for about ten minutes this morning. They are still hammering away…

I don’t think the gov thinks we’re subversive or dangerous (little do they know lol) I think it’s more about tracking every individual for a mul***ude of reasons none of which is their business. Have you noticed that ads on your browser are geared towards your interest? That’s because you are being tracked in this case it’s just commerce. The amount of technology used to track us is staggering. Being the hoodlum that I am I throw sand in the equipment at every chance I get. Flock cameras are getting a lot of press now. @twenty8 - I'm only speculating here ('cuz I rightly don't have Admin rights on any of the Atomic Industry servers) . . . but it's obvious to me that a bot (posing as the FCC by s****ing a government IP Address) has infected several (XenForo™ based) forum websites (including The Jalopy Journal & the FORD BARN) with a malware worm . . . and @Ryan is dealing with the eradication of this bot & the worm(s) the best way he can . . . i.e., by using CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) to deter further bot attacks . . . and a possible DoS (Denial-of-Service) attack. Bottom line: It ****s for us . . . but @Ryan's doing the right thing! - @HEMI32

Realistically, I’m biased. The FCC quite literally attacked my business in August of 2025. So much so, that I still haven’t recovered. I have no idea why I was mistakenly (I ***ume) targeted… but they claimed I hosted ****ography and “language not suitable for advertisers.” For the record, I do not and have never hosted ****ography, religion, or political content. As for the AI response, I have no clue. I’ve read about AI biases, but I don’t use it enough to have an educated opinion on it. What I can tell you as fact is this: we are getting hammered by bots that are s****ing both images and text using US gov ip addresses.
Language not suitable for Advertisers, isn’t that up to the advertisers? ****ography isn’t illegal as far as I know, I’m glad you don’t allow it on this site, but again for sure not the government’s business. I’ve been here for a little while, a newby more or less and I haven’t seen anything derogatory towards the government, individuals, or groups. Anything that is remotely political, religious, or demeaning to any person or group is shut down quickly. I do wonder about your politically connected ex neighbors however. Dan
Apparently, it's just the world we live in now, sad as that may be. I for one appreciate all that you do, @Ryan to keep the site as safe as possible. Targeted ads are bad enough, but tolerable. It's the more nefarious intrusions into our personal lives that I find obnoxious and dangerous.
