    Man was just thinking about you when I saw some of the mess Brian B*** had to deal with on the salt with his nitro powered hemi. Running lean it took the seals right off the lobes of the blower if I was seeing things correctly.

    Go figure I come over to this thread and you’ve made that carnage look like child’s play! Glad to see you moving forward. I love seeing how you problem solve your way through a season.

  2. The blower arrives tomorrow. We plan on making some hits at the Grove sunday.

  3. Fresh blower with billet rotors is on. It's all ****oned up ready to r PXL_20260815_015247030.jpg ock and roll.

  4. A better look at the damage. I asked them to send the broken rotors back. They will proudly go on my offerings to the gods of speed collection. Every part has a story. PXL_20260815_015605280.jpg PXL_20260815_015615551.jpg

  5. I'm not into the AI stuff. I had a friend play around with a idea I have. The car needs to be repainted. I'm thinking about some ghost flames. They will light up with the header flames. This was the first attempt at seeing how it might look. IMG_20260831_233048.png

  6. We used these two pictures to make the sample. PXL_20260901_033748481.jpg d9317a2c-7383-4f70-8399-d1555446f7eb.png

    Man I think if you did them in gold pearl they’d flip flop with the light and not look cheesy. Weesner reference is always a good idea!

  10. I'm not a painter. My buddy who is says he will mix the flake in the clear. Then clear over that. He has a bag of flake. We will test the look on the undamaged p***enger door first. Adjustments will be made after that.

  11. Rc 57 the flames made some really cool designs on the cowl. If the whole side matches the I would leave it as is.
    The car will be on display at this year's PRI show. A huge thrash will be going on to get it show ready.

    Hey, Brian;
    I like the ghost flaked flames. They'll look good.
    If the header flames will cause the flake to lightup esp at night, that's a "wow"! :D .

    I always wanted to try flake. A friend of my dad's did heavy flake over yellow-gold on a 63-65 Rambler American wagon hot rod and I thought that was the coolest paint job.
    Glad you came out of that ok.
    See you at Jefferson.

  15. One week from now the 2026 Nitro Chaos Champion will be decided. I'm in second place eleven points behind the leader. It will be exi***ing. If you can make it to Cordova stop out. FB_IMG_1789340350609.jpg

    Hey, Brian;
    Hope you do well there.
    Q: Do you run in your own cl***(AA/FA style), or against the funnys n rails?
    & if against the funnys n rail, heads-up, is any handicapping done to compensate for the funnys' better aero, esp the swoopy ones, not to mention the rails? If not, how much does the lack of aero &/or extra downforce at mid->top end(if any) hurt you? No clue - is why I ask.
    TIA.
