    Most likely I'll hang this up high in the shop. Like the giant eye in the Great Gatsby watching...

    We left at 7 this morning. We were going to be home by noon. That plan “**** The Bed” Google Maps rerouted us because of a wreck. We pulled into a gas station and noticed one of the wheel bearings was destroyed on our borrowed trailer. We drove to tractor supply which was a mile away and fixed it. The bearing and the nut almost didn’t come off. IMG_4942.jpeg IMG_4944.jpeg IMG_4943.jpeg
    My plier from my lloydfest raffle bucket saved the day. We got home and unloaded the car and took the trailer back I got in at 5:15

    I can't lie. I giggled when I came up with that. I giggled again when I pulled it off the heat press.
    I will say something humorous around the house and my girlfriend will ask me if I think I'm funny. I always tell her that I make myself laugh and that's good enough for me. That's how I feel about this piece of art, but knowing that you all like it is a compliment.

    One Excellent Adventure.
    Thanks @Lloyd's paint & gl*** and everyone who was at Lloydfest. You know it’s going to be good when you show up and you feel at home instantly.
    I think it’s time for a nap.

    Another one just rolled into the homestead. We made it. Nine hours on the clock which included two gas stops and one "go in and sit down" supper break.

    It's time to start planning for LF-V.

    Thanks for the camaraderie you all displayed this weekend.

    I've gotta say two things:

    1. I screwed up our Airbnb reservations so we didn't get there until noonish Saturday instead of noonish Friday. I won't make that mistake again.

    2. If you're relying on GPS to get you there (if coming a "back way") don't talk into your device. Type in Camargo. If you rely on voice recognition you might wind up going to Comargo. If you do that you'll be in places and on roads no "outsider" has seen in decades.

    @John B - thanks for the video. That's SO much better than anything I could have done.

    See all of you guys next year.

    @Moriarity
    @Bandit Billy
    @57 Fargo

    We're looking for you guys.

    @corncobcoupe - you too.

    I didn’t know I was supposed to do another burnout as I was leaving the picnic area, I just did one a few minutes before. Kim -The Boss- says you dummy why you think all those people were lined up with cameras.
    Can’t fix stupid.
    John what an excellent video

    It was when the banjos got louder that I pulled over and reset my GPS.

    It's when the banjos abruptly stop and you see the hillbillies running the other way that you should get really worried.

    Sometimes, there are just not any words that can accurately describe what you are seeing!

  23. Laura & I got home this evening about 8:00PM,

    We always book the cabin for 4 nights (Thursday night thru Sunday night) so we have the extra night for some relaxation! I have so many thoughts I would like to share, but it is almost 11:00PM & I am pooped, so tomorrow I will post them as well as some pics!

    We pray everyone who attended were able to make it home safely & some have already checked in confirming their arrival at home. Just the greatest bunch of folks in the hobby & when "Newbies" show up for the 1st time, they fit right in & it feels like they have been with us all along!!!

    God Bless

  26. WOW, just WOW!

    Another GREAT Lloydfest with a great bunch of guys & gals! This weekend for me is a break from real life as I get to spend a little more than a few minutes with friends & the great folks in this hobby unlike the time I normally get while Transporting. I am NOT going to try to list all the friends I so much enjoy spending time with, because I would inevitably forget a few as my memory is shot, but Y'all know who you are. Huge appreciation for welcoming Laura & Gucci in to the family. Gucci apologizes for only spending 1 day at the show but he turns 12 this month & wears out quickly (especially after all the attention & food he gets on Friday), he spent Saturday on the couch at the cabin:p

    Great meeting @Sharpone Dan & @Marty S for the 1st time this year....Seemed like we knew each other for years. Also met some local folks in the hobby that we enjoyed talking to as well.

    @High test 63 we missed you this year along with @CycleTech , @Greg Rogers , @Cosmo49 & others, but hope to see you all at Lloydfest V next year ....Hopefully sooner.

    Thank you to @Lloyd's paint & gl*** for all the work that goes into making this event happen every year. Thank you to @John B for the cool trophies (not just because Laura's T-Bird got the big one:p) & the awesome video. Thank you to the judge who chose Laura's "Prissy" for that trophy, warms my heart to see her tear up & feel included with what she has been through.

    I generally only take pictures early in the show, then once I get to "B.S. ing" , I completely forget. Here are some early Friday & a few more. Two of the last 3 are Gucci recovering in the cabin & me recovering on the deck of the cabin:D

    God Bless

    That was last years dinner photo.
    I know because my son and I were sitting next to Matt and Angie:)

  28. Can't be @enloe , because @Marty S is there & it was his 1st year + Laura bought that cowboy hat just a month ago!:p I think what happened was that this was taken later in the evening & Lloyd had taken Ethan's chair when he went to the bathroom!

    Here is last years Thursday Dinner Pic.

    Great pics! Yes when I met and talked with you it with seemed like I knew you forever. I felt that way with everyone there.
    When Gary @ROADSTER1927 was helping me adjust my trailer brakes a local asked if we had known each other and been friends for a long time. I think because we were working together like we’ve done this a hundred times. Gary responded that we’ve known each other since Thursday when I met and followed him and Mary to Lloydfest. I’m so glad I finally made it!
