    Morning all,
While doing my morning computer scan of stuff for sale i found this ford flathead 4 carb manifold. No info in the add except a $1600,00 price.

Does anyone know who made this manifold and maybe when it was produced?

    Thanks,
    Cliff Ramsdell

  2. Honestly it looks like something that could be made at home with some plate material of your choosing and some m*** produced carb risers modified to blend the ports in order to balance out the two cylinders they service. It also likely doesn't perform very well except maybe in the upper rpm ranges. The seller is dreaming with that price unless the carbs are included, but it's still overpriced.

I agree it looks like a custom shop made setup. Seen pictures of similar before. The issue with these is the 2-1 cylinder firing sequence, so there are 2 paired cylinders on the intake stroke at the same time on a single carb. The front p***enger side carb was often larger to compensate. Probably why there are only 3 carbs in the pic, the 4th didn't match and the seller didn't realize it went with.
