Found this at the 2026 Strausstown (PA) car show and swap meet. The gl*** is LOF but has no date stamp. My guess is late 1959’s to mid 1960’s. Give the shape and size (55” by 17”), I would guess a roadster/convertible. The stainless steel trim molding might give it away? Thanks for looking.
My first thought was two seat t-Bird or C-1 Corvette. I had a ‘56 Bird many years ago. But the trim is not right; and it doesn’t match any Ford vehicle I have seen. The gl*** has a obvious LOF stamp but there is no apparent date code. That makes me think it’s something a bit off the beaten path. The trim is thin and more refined than American cars from the 50’s. It is stainless steel- so maybe early 1960’s. Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. The gl*** and trim are nearly flawless- this needs a car!
We might be getting somewhere. My moldings have no connectors in the centers. So mine are 4 pieces- not 6 or 8????? Checking on the measurements now.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm not necessarily a Ford fanatic. But as far as 1957 styling goes Chevy had nothing over on the Fords. But then for 1958 everything went berserko for the Big Three. Go figure.
I would say rotate it 90* from where it is positioned in you pics, then let the collective intelligence of the HAMB do its thing. I see '53 Studebaker coupe-ish shape.
You may have hit the lottery. The small trim corners look right. When I bought it, the seller (lady) said she had no idea- but she had a second windshield and it had a Studebaker decal. Lol
I think @In_The_Pink nailed it with the Studebaker back gl*** suggestion. I tried to rotate these pics to similar angles and 53-55 Studebaker looks like a match.
I don't believe the Ford Motor Company ever had any ownership stake in Libbey-Owens-Ford Gl***. L-O-F was an O.E. supplier of windows and windshields to Ford, GM, Chrysler and any number of other auto and truck manufacturers for a lot of years.
Can you tell if it is laminated safety gl*** or tempered? I only have experience with the 55 -60 GM gl***, but the original windshields during this time were always laminated safety gl***. The original rear windows were tempered and not laminated. That's why the windshields get milky and the rear window gl*** doesn't. Additionally, the windshields will crack, but the rear windows will shatter into small pebbly pieces. Some replacement rear window gl*** is laminated, though. Can you post a photo of the LOF logo? That might help with deciding if it a windshield or a rear window.
