I think you got real lucky as the internals don't look too bad, considering what you went through to get it apart. I would have expected more wear/damage of other parts also. Trans has been apart before as that is not how the order of the OD frictions and steels go. Correct way is: 1 steel at the bottom, 1 friction, 2 steels together, 1 friction and then the pressure plate and snap ring. It does have a hardened sun shell, early ones were not hardened and were a high failure rate. Other common wear points are the overrun clutch drum to pump thrust washer can get heavy wear/scoring. Br*** washers between the pinion gears and carrier can wear excessive. Direct drum can get bad ring grooves where the sealant rings ride. Intermediate band surface on direct drum can have a belly in it. (check with a straight edge) Nylon washers can have metal particles imbedded. Some bushings always have too much wear and need to be replaced, some never show wear and are re-usable. Always use a nylon washer between sun shell and rear center support. Never use the bronze washer available or it will wear the center support premature. When replacing the pump, be sure to upgrade from the factory 7 vane to a 10 vane. At least from the photos, you have a workable piece. Bill
