...****ing ****s. But at least I did it...at least I did that. I swear I can survive in the wilderness McGuyver style. I didnt even have an engine hoist...just 2 saw horses and a few 2x4s. called up 4 people, noone answered so I said screw it I'll get this ****er.
Funny how I always answer (I'll be right over) when someone needs my trailer, torches, truck, engine hoist, torque wrench, or any other backbreaking bul**** job they are too lazy to do themselves and this is just this week, but when I need the tiniest bitof help for 5 min they forget who I am when they see the # on caller id. I have two jacks, a half dozen cinder blocks, chunks of 4x4, and any size s**** of tubing to lift pry roll or hoist anything up I possibly can by myself to avoid asking anyone for help anymore. I know how you feel
just put my sedan body in primer, im rebuilding the car, and had it out in the driveway to do body work but its getting too cold to do body work outside so i figured id put it back on the nice redone/painted ch***is (with motor, ******, etc. in) and in the garage for the winter.
rob I feel for you.. I had my 40 body on and off the ch***is 3 times.. all by myself.. good thing you did that while your still young and stupid.. I'm too smart for that now..
I thought that is the way every body did it. I put my 62 on the frame(took it off my self, too) and the 47 Ford coupe. Not too difficult with a little leverage. Not to mention you get to drink all the beer by yourself, too.
I put my 26 T coupe on and off my Model A frame by myself. I pick up the back and slide it over the rear tire on one side, then go to the front and pull that over to the ground, and then go back and slide the back all the way off. I'm just shy of 63 years old.
