hi friends,,,i havent worked too much on this body i picked up from CedarSpeed here on the HAMB since the last update,,,shortly afterwards someone made an offer on our house, yes,,**** reynolds is finally leaving the HOOD,haha,so the past month and a half has been crazy as you can imagine searching for a new home,,,,we found one,,,and should be moving in within the next week,,,it has been a wild past month and a half ....and the next few months or so should be just as crazy,,probably not alot of free time to work on this ,,so here's the last update for a while

anyways repaired the lower door sections on drivers & p***abger side.
replaced the rear panel under the trunk lid, installed my $5.00 swap meet '53 buick tail lamp bezels with '56 chevy lenses..so i have 5 buck in them:D
shortned down the cowl 2",,,i had studied the model t coupes a while,,and i came to the conlusion that the cowls are too long,,so i shortened it for better porportions and as a bonus, more engine room..
picked up a clean *** 40 ford front end ,the picked up a f1 brake set up from RBroadster here on the HAMB thanks again bro! picked up some 16" steelies as well,,i believe the rears are 41-48 style,,but the fronts are '40 i beleive,,(do the 40's have a differnet way of the hubcaps atatching with lil "clips"?,cuz thats what these have,,,).

so anyways,,,thanks for taking the time to view this

    good night and good morning!

Looks good, how much is it chopped? Appears about 5"-6" with a narrowed header plate above windsheild.

    Looks great Sam.

Good luck with the move. Get it done quickly so you can get back on the T.

The restrained chop, thinned header panel, & shortened cowl are going to put this one over the top.

Great proportions! Good luck with the move. Does the new place have a nice garage?

Awesome, I have a stock 26 coupe (always looking for ideas) and love the things you are doing to yours. The shortened cowl makes a huge difference and the top is chopped just right. The stance is right on. Keep us posted.

thanks for the comments,,....sometimes i get discouraged with lack of progress,,,but then i have to remind myself that this isnt TV or a magazine with unlimited cashflow and that i dont have a deadline,,:D so it doesnt really matter when its done

tuck,,not sure on what kind of powerplant yet...but will defenitley be something cru jones would aprove of :D

its actually chopped 8 1/4 inches,,,,these t coupes are so tall!

the garage,,yes, the new place has a two car garage, but i think i can fit three if i squeez them in,,!,the garage(and home)is quite abit larger than the place we are at now,,plus i wont have to share space with the washer & dryer anymore, haha,,,and its just far out enough to be out of the city limits,,,

    have a great day!

Looks great with the header shortened so the side windows and the front windshield are closer to the same height at the top. I was going to do that to my 27 coupe body I had, but never got around and sold it before any work.

The shortened cowl is a good idea, you are right that it looks more proportional.
