They would have to be at least 6 cylinders if they're from Chryslers. There are some speed parts, intakes are around, I've seen aluminum heads for the Plymouth/Dodge ones, not sure about the Chrysler/DeSoto engines. What speed parts are availible are going to be pricey.

  3. Parts are available here: www.oldmoparts.com but speed equipment is either gonna be egay or what you can fab yourself.

yeah, they are 6's.. was hungover this morning.. :D k, well.. might have to do some fabben then, I think they would look sweet in a hoodless fenderless 46 chev truck...

  6. All Mopar sixes produce plenty of torque due to their long stroke, and seem to go forever. The best hop-up for the buck is to have the head machined for higher compression. Twin carbs will be next, and twin exhaust last. If you want to go for a cam, you have to be careful to get a grind that produces hp at low revs, because these motors dont much like going over 3500 revs. Unless of course you do the whole bit like Hudsonater and get into crossdrilling the crank and relieving the bearing shells for better oil flow to the bearings.
