First, I wanted to thank everybody that came up to the party that Dusty threw on Saturday. I had a blast and it was awesome to see all of you. Tyler (both of you) thanks for the King Cobra and the Alkaseltzer, they go hand in hand! Dusty and ChaCha, thanks for putting all that together and having everyone over, I couldn't have had a better 21st!! Well, I left here on thursday and headed down to the falls, where Dusty, my friend Jamie and myself did a little wrenching on his motor and finally got it to fire (not without a quick ford firing order lesson from Lucky7!) For all of you that think you haven't seen this car before, think again. Yall remember the T with the 6 and one zoomie from Pistons and Paint, or from the Kontinental's Day of the Drags? Well, Dusty has been workin his ass off all winter and it really shows. Some of the main updates are a new luevered deck lid, a narrowed 50 ford dash, the installation of a withshield (complete with konan the barbarian spikes), and new grille shell, new upholstry, a healthy channeling job, a Y block backed by a 3 spd o.d. and a new Road Rockets plaque. He's worked really hard and anybody that came to the party on Saturday will agree with me when I say that this car is bad ass. Without further delay, the pictures:
Will this roadster be at the Roundup? I REALLY want to hear how that Y block sounds with the zoomies. Lookin' good.
Hey Dusty a couple of parts fell off in the last pic, next to the right wheel. Shoulda bolted them on better. Did the promised air force hos show up? Wish I coulda made the party, just an old man sitting back enjoying watching you young bucks party.
I had a blast this wekend....but you guys need to move closer to one another. I drove for hours this weekend just tring to get from one house to another. Thanks everyone for lettng me crash all over north Texas.
Glad I got to come up for the party. My legs hurt from walking the swap all day, my stomach hurts from laughing so much (those Kirk brothers keep me rolling) and my ears are blown from Fireing that badboy up everytime someone new showed up at the party. Yeah it was a pretty good weekend. Kartbreakers ride is definately looking good. His neighbors have got to hate him, especially after that last 12:30 AM fireing. He was'nt just letting that beast idle. Special thanks to ChaChaKartbreaker for setting up an excellent spread of Mexican food. Whose B-day is next?

Great weekend Jake was in his usual state, but legally now. Friday Horton Heat concert. - Beer, Brawl, and I got to open the caps on my headers. - Road rockets were well represented (have you seen Kyle) - Glad the Tulsa boys were allowed out of Oklahoma, once they find out you want to be Texan, they might not let you back. - Thanks for the room at the Bass Hall Sat - Over priced junk at the swap, but I had fun looking - Great time at kartbreakers.. - Not a single airforce ho in sight - The T has had a complete makeover, it looks great, sounds even better Sunday - Glad we made the trip back to Decatur Sat night - Thanks for the couch Bubba, glad I didn't stay in the Jake room. - Slept all day TZ
Thanks to the Kartbreaker's for such a great party. Dusty, Keven really enjoyed being able to take out some of the built up aggression at the Rev show. He had such a great time and didn't want to go back to GA (except for the fact that his car was sitting at the airport). Hopefully he will be home in a few weeks. Can't wait to see the pics from the wild night in Denton. See you guys in Austin!!
