Yep, i delivered it to a fellow HAMBer this morning. LOST ANGEL is now the owner of my old 33 pick up.. Man, i didn't think selling this thing would be difficult, but i found myself wanting to turn around a few time's during the hour or so trip to his place..This truck was honestly one of the best ride's i've ever had, period.. But, the cash is going to help me buy a house, AND what i'm not using toward's that will be put into the 32 5 window i've had sitting for 5 years now (see avitar).. So hopefully i won't be without a hot rod for too long.. Mike is a real good guy and i'm more than sure it went to a good home..plus if it ever go's back up for sale, i'm getting the first call..can't beat that! .. It's nice dealing with a stand up guy. Thanks Mike, and enjoy the ride man...it's a good one!!! It was snowing (looks like rain in the pics)when i left the house...but cleared up about half way there.. I had to take a couple pics from my cell phone...the last ride.. Tony
What? You mean he bought the only truck that was published TWICE in the SAME MAG??!! How come you never call me Tony? Why? Spike
Haha...i know i know.... i get my balls broke about not calling anyone.. I know i need to work on that..
..You sure do like to type though..maybe you should get a My space page and blog to all your buds... Spike
Congratulations on the sale ... Sometimes something you really like has to leave ... so something else can become a reality. I sold a 69 real Z28 and a real 70 Chevelle 454 LS 6 to get my house ... I sold a 1940 Ford standard businessman coupe to get my 32 3W ... Get started on the 5W ... and move on ... the truck is in good hands.
Hey Tony I know first hand how hard it can be to let some cars go, but it always helps when you know they are going to a good home. The 5 window with be worth it in the end.
Oh sure, make me feel like I stole your first born. I will take good care of it, and thanks again for the delivery.-MIKE PS. You should see me get my stupid legs in that 9" channel job!
Tony, I know how hard it is, I miss my wagon everytime I go for a long drive... and the sedan beats on me.. Spike, he never calls anyone..
Man that truck is so freaking tuff. Drive with pride man. I can't wit to see what your coupe looks like Tony. Definately build things right
Hahaha!!! That was in thebed of the truck when i got it, and i just had to put it on..That stupid plate frame got a lot of attention...probably bad, but that's ok.. Been thinking about this all day..It's a GREAT feeling knowing it's in good hands. I got a call tonight from a guy who was interested init when i had it on eBay.. He never bid on it, but waited until after the auction ended, then called me back and offered me a stupid low price. I told him plain and simple if i didn't get what i wanted for it i'd keep it, period.. Well, when he called tonight with his slight at***ude asking abotu the truck again, it felt great telling him i not only sold it just this morning, BUT i sold it to a really good guy.. He actually stumbled for words..LOL I'm full throttle on the deuce now........so ****'s going to start to happen on that..and i can't wait! and i can also get serious about a house too Mike, it was my pleasure bringing it to you.. It gave me just a little more time behind the wheel and i'm glad i did it that way. Tony..
Congrats Tony, however wish it was sitting in my garage instead. As you know, I had been trying to put together the funds, had the purchase price, and was working on the funds for shipping across the country. Thanks alot Lost Angel (jus kidding). Anyways, good luck with your house purchase, take care, and hope to talk to you later. Jeff
Hell, i live only a few blocks away and never see or hear from him...So Thank god for HAMB!...Atleast i know he is still in the area. Congrats to both parties involved & what the f@ck is a pack rat?
I thought it would kill me when my truck went. But with the finished roadster in the garage it didnt bother me a bit. Just move on to the next one. My roadster will never go anywhere! I think I'm finally to the vehicles I really want and am happy with. Try to do the same and have fun with them.
........like letting go of your High School sweetheart and settling down with your new wife..... "she" was a good ride but this one's a keeper.
Sweet truck, glad it went to a good home in the Hamb familia! Good luck on your new home purchase and getting that duece on the road. blessings, CAB

Since our trucks are distant cousins I'm glad I at least I got a chance to check it out and park next to it at the Showdwn. Have fun with the 32. TZ
Glad it went to a good home, too. I've always been fond of that truck, since I am building a '33, myself. Best of luck to all involved.
Tony, Congrats on selling, now finish the '32 and that '53 Chev. You should have stopped by, you were just down the street. You could have checked out that front end I was telling you about, picked it up for $5. Jim
Ya know, when i was headed out there i knew you were in the area but had no idea where.. i wish i had known...5 bux eh...un real!!!! Tony
Damn, It's gonna be hard when I have to let one go too. I keep fixin'them and they just hang around. Good thing it takes a couple of years to do one! Nice ride, Love them pickups! Jim
NEVER did I think you would sell Lil' *******!!! What a great truck it is, fun cruiser and attention grabber. Never forget the first time I squezzed my fat *** into that thing..... 10lbs of **** in a 5lb bag!! Good luck and congrats to the new owner!!
