Its that time of year again for us East Coasters. The Turkey Rod Run located at the famous Daytona Speedway. Thanks Giving weekend 23-26 NOV 2006 Most of you know there are sections set aside for HAMB parking and Southern Grease Pit parking side by side lets see some hands!
No car, but I'll be by the SGP/HAMB sections regularly all weekend. Camping at Fizzy's in Holly Hill Th. p.m. - Sun a.m. in the Marshmallow, probably next to you.
I'll be there in my chopped, channeled, white on black Adidas Superstars, drooling on everyone's cars, and snappin' some picts. Oh, and day dreamin'. Where's the Fri. night hangout? Bellair Plaza, or is there somewhere cooler?
Are there any guys around the Venice Fl. area? myself and a few buddies are coming down to the turkeyrun, then heading to Venice to pickup a car to bring back to Michigan. It would be cool to hit a couple of garage tours while we are down there. Jeff
I'll be there all 4 day's with my roadster.Mustangsix the HAMN and SGP parking is at the east end of lake loyd in the fenced in area.GREGG
Mike it will let you go in and out whenever you want.Like before the gate's open, also you can drive in across the track on the front straight or through the new tunnel at turn 1 .The biggest thing is you wont have to wait in line to get in because you dont have to get in line with the show car's GREGG
THATS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA thanks see ya inside the tunnle or atleast the front of the line
Will be as close to the swap meet as possible. Will be in a 75 ElCamino SS/ Jeff, I don't think my PM to you worked. I live in Englewood, but won't be getting back home till Sunday. Butch
I registerd my 65 custom 500 but some health issues is going to cancel my trip,I have some kidney stones and they installed some stints to keep it open untill they can blast the stones. I have only one kidney due to a car wreck so I am going to stay close to home as the stones will be blasted the 29th. Jeff
i'll go to the swapmeet thurs and fri if the weather isn't too bad// it's not looking real good on the long range weater forecast tho// rain and high winds predicted for the end of the week with cold temps
i cant wait. dont know what i need to get at the swap meet but i will know when i see it. looking to sell or trade my buick this year.
i'll be there friday and sat....and friday night at the front of the track for the slow drags and cruise in look for my coupe .........rooster
OK, We're down to the wire, My budy might be taking a 69 camaro he built and we're either driving or dragging my T bucket there. so far as of tonight, it starts, has brakes, and the body is being worked on as i type back at the shop. The rear tires might not be done in time from the Candy shop, So we'll get the right tires, drive it up there, and then when Turkey Run is over I'll ship the same tires out to Ca to get white walled. No sense in buying 2 sets of $$$$$$ tires.. Maybe I just get some old iused 17" tires...
Me and my friends on Friday at the Run. I'll be up at Bel Air Plaza a few nights this week in my 58 Chevy. Just trailored up the 27 roadster from Melbourne to sell for my pal. Its on a trailer, anyone want to see it can PM here, or email me for my cell and can come check it out. tony
Do we have a HAMB meet and greet time set up for Saturday? Weather looks kinda ****py (rain) for Thursday, but clears up for Fri, Sat and Sun. When ya going over Glenn?
