Here's a 390 Cad motor I found in a '41 Cad. Not my car. A guy has these stored in a lot with a bunch of other cars. I asked if he wanted to sell, he said no. I will try again later.

I'd like to have those for my caddy. Though i'd definitly change the transmission out. I don't have a pic of my engine after the rebuild but I didn't paint it just made it run stronger and stop leaking 3 quarts in 20 mins.

A Caddy v-8 belongs in a 49 to 51 Ford. These were the coolest street hotrods from my days. A Caddy or Olds in a 49,,,,,way cool

 

this is a 390 from a 61 in my 56

 

here's the '56 365 in my 31 ford.

 

Mine. All i need is the std flywheel and misc stiuff. The 6 duece is a Crager.

 

Not my engine, but I saw this in an Allard road racer at Lime Rock Park.
