Ask yer dad if he remembers this western PA sprinter. The #69 driven by Gus Linder and owned by Micky Banas. I watched it race in central PA many times.

Yeah - ummm... Bowling Green, KY is where the Corvette plant is. It's where they build those plastic fantastics.
