I had read an article a while back covering seaming a 49-54 Chevy hood where the guy removes about a 4" strip right down the middle of the hood. I can't remember what mag I read it in. I am pretty sure it was R&C, but I have searched their tech archives with not much success. Thanks Root

I think Pat Ganahl also did a similar thing to his '54 way back in the early 90's. They used the bead from the side of an extra fender for the middle rib on his hood.
na its old skool rodz i remember as it was the first time i had seen it for sale down in oz it was april last year but i think it was a couple of months behind your release dates,ill check for you tonight and message the issue tommorow
