Auction for Ratstar: I'll draw your car

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by nate, Nov 22, 2006.

  1. When I lost my job a year and a half ago my wife was pregnant with our third child, so I can understand what ratstar is going through right now. There's a real sense of helplessness when you think you might not be able to provide for your family.

I'll draw any car (pencil sketch) for the high bidder, I'll cover shipping, just send the money to ratstar. Auction ends 11/29/06 noon my time.

Bid high to help a brother out!

here's some of my work, if you don't know me:

  17. Great!

Ok, here's another quick change.. instead of me doing two drawings, our friend Surf Monkey has volunteered to do one and I'll do the other. He's a great artist, so someone will get their money's worth. I suppose the high bidder gets to choose who does theirs and the second place bidder gets the other guy ;)

Keep bidding, only 6 days left !! :)

I'd want to be highest bidder AND second highest bidder.:D

My hats off to both Surf Money and Nate! xoxoxo

  20. Denise, you can do that! All you have to do is make a stupid high bid... and then outbid yourself! :D

Be careful, Denise. I ended up with a 78 Eldorado that way once. Good thing it was only $40 and I drove it home...

Unfortunantly it's the wrong time of the year for me BUT both parts of this auction sound right up Doc's alley. I wouldn't be surprised if he played "sniper" at the end.:D

Cute kids! Come on folks, this a good cause...and you get a professional drawing of your car to boot! Ya'll can't let me win this easy! ;) Besides, I gots lots of cars I'd like drawn up, so I may take Nate's advice and outbid myself. You better keep your eye on second spot Racer! LOL
