BIKES, SWAP MEET RIDES, MINI BIKES!!!! all the recent talk of minibikes and swap meets got me thinking. i know alot of us on here have bikes and such we drag out to shows and stuff......so let's see em' here's mine it's a 72 coaster krate. i put this together piece by piece. powder coated frame, pete seat, nos tires(at least they were before i started to ride it!!) rechromed forks, handlebars, has a nos shimano disc on the backside of the super rare spinfree aluminum 2 piece wheel. moon crank, and blinking skull light!! i use the light so when the bike is riding on the rack on the back of the car i can tell if it's still there at night!! the icing on the cake for me was to take the bike out to huntington beach and ride it on the pier. HB was the birthplace of the krate!! or at least that's where they got the idea from..or so i read. so... watcha got???
Cool Bike, nice moon disc! - Here is my minibike I just got to ride for the first time saturday. I can't wait to take it to some shows this summer - I just have to figure out how to get it there - its real long and I don't have a pick up.
I'm working on one similar to yours KustomAudio. It's a late model Apple Krate frame. I'm doing it up to match my hot rod so it's red and it's gonna have whitewalls on it. Still need some parts for it. So far I've got frame w/chain guard & crank, seat and seat bar, WW slick and matching WW front tire, rear fender, seat post and front wheel.
good post Matt... nope Johnny, KnR didn't do this one but he did do the one i'm working on now...he's got skillz.... KnR's stuff here's the FrankenKroozer...striping by Palmer. Who else? where's your FatLucky fitted Kroozer, Johnny? Let's see dat!
I clicked on this out of frustration from not knowing what the last couple of words were to know that I wasn't interested in clicking on it at all. so I WASTED that much more of Ryan's band width loading pictures that I dodn't need to see just because you couldn't title it "SHOW ME YOUR [Minibikes]" GRRRR ARGH!
Oh yeah...now that I've heard THAT,I'm totally gonna change the way I feel... Why dismiss a kool post just cuz your Metamucil shipment got held up at the docks? Viva Frankenkroozer!
Here's an old scooter that was my dads when he was young...I have to admit that I started working on this thing about 8 years ago, then forgot about it until this post, looks like I found some inspiration to finish it .

[/ QUOTE ] Thanks for the good words. I bought the car mostly done , at a great price, finished the interior, did some rewiring and assembly, gave it a nice detail job, and cruised the shit out of it for about 2 months. I sold the car for nearly double what I paid for it at the Goodguys show in Indy last year. That is how I funded my Model A sedan. Back to the origanal post, sorry for the hi-jack. -Joe
My work in progress. It's an old Murray. The old forks, wheels, and seat aren't staying. [image]http://www.hpphoto.com/servlet/LinkPhoto?GUID=6f741ef7-6a1c-1515-34b9-3caf27b075e7&size=sm[/image]
[ QUOTE ] Mine...could be yours if the price is right. I really want one of the new RatFink bikes. -Joe [/ QUOTE ] I love that caprice. Got a chance to see it down here in FL last year at the NSRA show in Tampa. Very slick ride.

I built this Schwinn for my Father for Xmas of 98. I think I've had it ever since and put about a million miles on it as it's my urban daily...
