  11. The striping looks great. But you might as well have painted "Idiot" on the decklid.

yep I agreee, seems a bit immature to have crap like that written on. I bet every time they have thier picture taken they're flippin the finger. Probably in thier family portrait too.

The police around here would never let that fly. Some high school kid had a collision and spray painted shit happens on the huge dent in the side of his car, and he had to take it off.

Exactly. But neither is half of what people do, and think its traditional. But thats what happens when you mix neo-rockasilly's with hot rods, you get rat rods! Yea man, Just like the 50's!

That letting is, well, it looks like a 2 year old did it.

I dont want to know...I would like to continue enjoying car shows with my kids without seeing that kind of shit plastered all over and having to explain what it says and what its doing on a car we would otherwise think is cool. Bright side is Ol Skool Rodz loves putting bad azz shots like that in their mag. Just my thoughts.

Hey guys do you hear what is being said? We know what cool is and that ain't cool. Finish the car before you paint stuff on it and you might have a little respect for the car and yourself too.

Nothing crybaby about it......this is a traditional site....and tradition means done in the same way over a long timespan.....and painting fuck off on the deck of a car isn't traditional. It's just a cheap shortcut to try and be cool, or bad, or whatever....and it didn't work, at least not on this board. It's a loser (the shitbox)....try again next time.

I agree entirely, these guys must be fresh outa' the ricer thing, that's just plain immature. I raised 2 kids around cars and car shows, I'm sure glad they're grown now, with the way some of the shows and participants have gone down hill.

No, We actualy own and drive real, legit traditional hot rods and customs. Thats what this message board is about. From reading your profile, and the fact that your more worried about painting silly messages on your car than getting it on the road, it seems that you dont drive any traditional cars. Whos the poser? Do a search on the names of the posters in this thread ,including mine if you'd like, and see what we drive/build.

I think I speak for most of the guys responding on this thread when saying that we take the tradition of building hot rods and customs the way the first generations of our genre did it VERY SERIOUSELY. Rat Rods in general are a total slap in the face to the real tradaditional hot rod and custom guys. A rusty body, with "fuck off" painted on the rear deck is a rat rod.

If you want to hang out at a rat rod board, thats fine, its just that this isnt one.
