I need to know if there are any companies that make new parts for a 1956 International 1/2 ton pickup. I'm looking mainly for suspension and brakes, but would also like to find some misc. trim.
    PLEASE HELP ME!

I'd bet you'd be out of luck on trim pcs being re-popped.

For brake, suspension & mechanical stuff, you might want to try NAPA Auto Parts. They usually are able to help me out.

There's a link on the top of the page for a great parts source for our old binders. eBay always has rubber parts & misc stuff brand new for the trucks as well.

    I've got a '57 S-110, looks like a '56 though.

Where do you get gl*** for the 56, anyone make new gl***? I know they must,I have seen some 56 that was restored, but no contact info.any help would be great!

  7. Dinkster, you should do an intro...it's a tradition here. :)

Any of the above places MIGHT have NOS gl***....possibly....more likely to have used gl***, though...if anything. Scout Connection seems to have a lot of older IH non-Scout parts, as does Super Scout Specialties.

The back & side windows can probably be done by any gl*** shop. I don't know about the windshield. Try OEM Gl*** in Bloomington, IL- they used to have the ability to get/make a lot of vintage car gl***. There's probably someone closer to you, though.
