I've had a couple requests for the "worn out" or "antiqued" paintjobs latley, just wondering if anybody here is familiar with what i'm talking about, I have to start doing some demos next week so i was hoping to maybe get some tips from others before i start.

spray a lot of different colors for base. then wet sand areas to get the old paint under new paint look.

maybe some people don't want to look at patches of body filler. or when you build a car and you use donar pieces not everything is the same color. some people don't prefer that either.

You could rub dog poop on the metal and then clearcoat over it.

That is the next trend in custom paint.

Leave the antiqued paint jobs to the amateurs. I just paid good money to a pro painter to have him do the best job he could. The results are gorgeous -- like gl***.
