floor tubeing

    What wall thickness does everyone use for 1x1 tube under floors. thanks..
     
  2. I usually use 1x2 16 gauge. Might be overkill but works for me.

    Thanks all i can find local is 1x1 .125 and it seams to thick?
     
  4. It really doesn't make any difference, other than cost and wieght. I use 1x1, 1x2, thick or thin wall, just depends on the job.

    I generally use 14ga on all my projects...It's easy to work, and you can bend it pretty good.

    Thanks all. I have started with the .125 but have some 16 ga. on the way.
